January 2002
Happy
New Year!!
Once again I come to you with a few days behind schedule. My
excuse? I don't have one except the usual "I've been real
busy".
This Christmas I had the opportunity to go back to Atlanta and spend close
to two weeks with my parents and my sisters. It's hard to believe
but it had already been one year since I had been able to see them, so it
did me a lot of good to be with them.
This is basically what happened during the month of December. Can you
believe that we are already in 2002. It seems like just yesterday, the
world was for the most part worried and scared about what would happen
with "Y2K"; but this date has come and gone and life has
continued. Then this year tragedy struck our nation. The hate that
can drive mankind is incomprehensible. But thank be to God who helped our
nation stand strong and not let itself be defeated by grief or by fear. To
all of you who are reading this newsletter and may have been personally
impacted by the events of September 2001, please remember that God loves
you. This winter, while in Georgia, I heard a song that I really
appreciated. It is the "Silent Night 9-11 Song". If you have not
heard it; you can download it right here from my website. May the Lord bless you as you listen to
it.
January started it off with a lot of work for me. Once I got back to
France after my two weeks vacation, I had to catch up on everything that I
had put to the side. That took about a week, and once that was done, I left for a week of services in Saint Etienne, This is a town
about four and a half to five hours from Cannes. It was a blessed
time and I believe that the church was blessed.
Now we have already begun the month of February and time just seems to
keep flying by.
During this
year, please remember that the Lord is with you always. May the Lord bless
you and help you to discover His love even more this year.
