This web site has now been up and running
for the past three and a half years. Since November of 1999. At that time I was living in Cannes
France, and beginning my work in a church there. (Le
Centre Evangélique de Cannes) In September of 2002 I finished my work in
the city of Cannes and have now moved to Toulon. It is about an hour west of
Cannes. It is still considered to be the French Riviera, but the town is much
less touristic than Cannes. It is a military town, so there are many people who
are constantly going and coming.
As for the church, it has about 250 people and a
youth group of about 25 people. The church is well situated in the center of
town and on a main thoroughfare. The building is an old cinema from the 1950's
which has been remodeled on the inside for church activities. I hope to be able
to add some pictures soon, so that you can get a better idea.
